Two Wishes is a point of interest in the Interludes of Path of Exile 2 that can be a bit tricky to complete, since the items required to finish the side quest are easy to miss for players who are rushing to the next area.
Additionally, upon progressing the quest, players are presented with three possible “wishes,” with little indication of what each choice entails and what the possible consequences will be later on.
How to Complete Two Wishes Quest in Path of Exile 2
To complete the Two Wishes POI in Path of Exile 2, you have to obtain two items: Yoon’s Barya and Rangeen’s Barya. Similar to the Mushrooms in Act 3, both of these items are random drops from the monsters inside the Sel Khari Sanctuary map in the Interludes of PoE 2. Clear the entire map, and you are guaranteed to receive both Baryas.
Once you obtain Yoon’s and Rangeen’s Baryas from the enemies in the map, you will need to locate Yoon’s Pedestal and Rangeen’s Pedestal. Yoon’s Pedestal is always located in a small chamber in the southwestern side of the map, whereas Rangeen’s Pedestal is always present on the opposite side, in the northeast.
Interact with a Pedestal, and you will be presented with your choice of rewards. Pick wisely.
Which Wish Should You Choose Using Yoon’s and Rangeen’s Barya in Path of Exile 2?
Regardless of whether you pick Yoon or Rangeen first, you will be offered the same three options:
- Wish for an Amulet: Offers you four random rare Amulets. Choose one.
- Wish for a Ring: Offers you four random rare Rings. Choose one.
- Wish for a Jewel: Offers you three random rare Jewels. Choose one.
You will get two opportunities to pick, once from Yoon’s Pedestal and once from Rangeen’s. Once you choose an option and claim a free item from that category, you will only see the two remaining options when you talk to the other Djinn. This means that, of the three options, you will have to give up on one.
This choice essentially boils down to what you need. If you’re lacking a good anoint Amulet, pick the Amulet option, but if you’re happy with what you’ve already got, pick the other two. From a rarity perspective, however, Jewels are the most valuable, followed by Amulets, and Rings rank last. If you’re unsure about which ones to pick, choose Jewel and Amulet.
