Due to it being a Mythical Zoan fruit, it allows the user to turn into a massive and exceptionally powerful dragon whose scales are impervious to all kinds of damage, including most forms of Haki.

Because of this, and the sheer destructive potential that it grants the user with abilities like fire breath and flight, the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu is one of the most desirable Devil Fruits in the story. For example, Kuma can take out the pain and memories of the people he targets. Moreover, he can also repel things and people to places he has been to before.

When taking that into consideration, one can truly see why this Devil Fruit was coveted enough to be kept as one of the treasures of the Native Hunting Competition. Just like the Uo Uo no Mi, the chest that had this Devil Fruit was stolen by Ivankov and Kuma, but before Big Mom could take it from them, Kuma ate it and gained these amazing powers to save everyone there.

The first time that the God Valley Incident was ever shown, be it through vague flashbacks or even just mentions of it, there were initially a total of 6 chests kept on the altar, leading fans to believe that there were 6 of these Devil Fruits in total. However, the recent chapters of the Elbaf flashback reveal that there were actually 9, so there are many more important Devil Fruits that could have been here.

The fandom has been theorizing what these could be for quite some time now, stating that there could be a few familiar fruits as well as those we have never even seen before. A common belief is that the Yami Yami no Mi, Gomu Gomu no Mi, and Loki’s mysterious fruit were also kept as prizes, and a newer theory states that Monkey D.
