When it released in 1999, American Pie was an instant success. The raunchy comedy racked up over $230 million at the box office, and it’d go on to spawn a variety of sequels over the years–and remains a classic to this day. Folks looking to relive the wild adventure can now preorder the American Pie Limited Edition Steelbook on 4K Blu-ray, offering over three hours of bonus features plus a hilarious cover design for its premium case. It’s slated for a September 30 release.
$30 (was $35) | Releases September 30
This premium edition of American Pie includes 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and digital copies of both the theatrical and unrated versions of the film. It supports Dolby Vision and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, meaning it should both look and sound great in modern home theaters. What’s most impressive, however, is its $30 price tag, which is the exact same price as the standard American Pie 4K Blu-ray. Essentially, you’re not paying any extra for the cool steelbook case–making this the best version to add to your collection. Preorders are available at Amazon and Walmart.
