The Hidden Hunter Quest In Silksong

After going to Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong, if Hornet visits Bellhart, she’ll find new quests on Bellhart’s Wishwall. One of these quests is the Hidden Hunter, where Hornet needs to track and find the one who stole Gilly’s keepsake. It’s a Grand Hunt wish, indicating the danger the boss poses. The Hidden Hunter Quest In Silksong

After getting the Hidden Hunter quest from Bellhart’s Wishwall, you can read that the boss stole Gilly’s Keepsake near the Bellshrine between Deep Docks and Far Fields, indicating this is the last place he was detected. If you search the area near Far Fields Bellshrine, you’ll find a track that allows you to follow it to the boss location.

The Hidden Hunter Location In Silksong

The Hidden Hunter boss is in a locked area in Far Fields, which only opens after unlocking the Silk Soar skill in Silksong. It allows Hornet to open a bridge from Hunter’s March into the Far Fields, allowing exploration of the areas above.

How to reach Heart of The Wild 1 in Silksong

If you haven’t opened that area yet, travel to the Marrow and travel to Hunter’s March without going through the Deep Docks shortcuts.

In Act 3, all other entrances to Hunter’s March are blocked, and you can only access it from the Marrow.

After that, reach the statues at the end of Hunter’s March and use the Super Jump Skill to access the new area. Once you make it into the upper lands of Far Fields, you’ll immediately come across a track that leads you to the Hidden Hunter location in Silksong.

On the other hand, if you have already visited this area before to do quests like the Fastest In Pharloom quest in Silksong, you can access that area from the Pilgrim’s Rest shortcut. In the end, no matter where you access the area from, you’ll continue to find tracks and traps, indicating where you need to go. The last track is a trap that will pull you down to the boss’s location.

When falling into their trap, Hornet will meet the Hidden Hunter, called Gurr the Outcast. It’s not an easy boss fight, but Gurr moves in predictable patterns, leaving spikes behind them as they change their position. These spikes will complicate moving around, while the Hidden Hunter boss has the freedom to go anywhere they want to. However, once you understand the pattern and wait patiently for every hit, you’ll win this boss fight and get one step closer to completing the Hidden Hunter Grand Hunt Wish in Silksong.

After Hornet beats Gurr the Outcast, move to the left side of this area to find the Grass Doll. Travel back to Bellhart and turn in the Grass Doll to finish the Hidden Hunter quest in Silksong.
