This post contains spoilers for My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia is one of the most successful series of the last two decades. It has won over fans with its immense story and amazing cast of characters. Horikoshi Kohei deserves all the praise for the series. Without him, My Hero Academia would have never existed.
However, one of the major reasons behind its fame has been the incredible anime adaptation by Studio Bones. The studio’s staff worked tirelessly to create an adaptation that will be remembered for years to come. But like all good things, the My Hero Academia anime must come to an end. The series is set to air its final season in October 2025, and it will leave behind a massive hole when it ends.
My Hero Academia Season 8 Release Date Has Been Confirmed
MHA Season 8 Will Release In October 2025
- My Hero Academia Season 8 will be released in October 2025
- Marriagetoxin is Studio Bones’ next big project
As previously stated, My Hero Academia Season 8 is set to be released in October 2025. The final season will bring an end to the thrilling story of Midoriya Izuku. It feels like only yesterday that Midoriya appeared on the screen for the first time and won fans’ hearts with his innocence and heroism. Now, his story is about to come to its conclusion, and fans are understandably sad. While it’s not possible to stop the anime from ending, fans can take solace in the fact that Midoriya’s story will have a satisfying conclusion.
The eighth season of My Hero Academia is produced by Studio Bones, which has worked on all the other seasons as well as the movies. The studio has done a stellar job with the adaptation, which is why My Hero Academia stands out from most other titles. Studio Bones has given the audience little to no reason to complain about the series, and they will be hoping that remains the case even after Season 8.
When My Hero Academia inevitably ends, the anime industry will definitely miss it. The staff at Studio Bones will also feel a bit lost as one of their projects comes to its conclusion. However, it won’t be long before the staff is assigned to a new project. In fact, there is a good chance that a lot of the staff have been shifted to other projects, including Marriagetoxin.
My Hero Academia Replacement Will Be Released In 2026
Marriagetoxin Is An Amazing Manga Series
Marriagetoxin’s anime adaptation was announced rather recently, and it was also confirmed that the project will be handled by Bones Film, which is a subsidiary of Studio Bones. The studio was responsible for producing My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, which was released in March 2025. The adaptation was excellent, and fans were content. In fact, the reception towards the anime led to the confirmation of the second season quickly. So, Bones Film is an excellent studio, and it can take on any challenge, including Marriagetoxin.
Fans who have read Marriagetoxin know that the manga is phenomenal and truly deserving of a solid adaptation. Therefore, the decision to hand over the series to Bones Film is an excellent one, and it can help to increase the manga’s popularity. Marriagetoxin may not be a true successor to My Hero Academia, but it can certainly replace the latter. Marriagetoxin’s sales have been impressive, but they’re not on the same level as My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. However, it can be changed with the help of an anime adaptation. It’s common knowledge that a proper anime adaptation can change everything.
In the past, the popularity of many manga titles has skyrocketed after the anime’s release. The best example is Demon Slayer. The manga was doing well, but it was relatively unknown outside Japan. But when the first season premiered, it became a global sensation.
The manga’s popularity also shot up in Japan, and fans began buying volumes. Recently, it was reported that the Demon Slayer manga has sold more than 220 million copies, making it one of the best-selling titles of all time. So, the series is proof enough that an anime adaptation can have a positive impact. Hopefully, Marriagetoxin will receive a similar treatment from Bones Film.
