Nearly the entire A4 set of Pokemon TCG Pocket has leaked, but fans are particularly stunned by one of its Supporters, which is seen as the upcoming season’s potential star. Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s next expansion is called Wisdom of Sea and Sky, and will likely include over 200 new and reworked cards.
Many of Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s A4 cards leaked before their official announcement, including the headliners Ho-Oh EX and Lugia EX, which also revealed the set’s Gen-2 theme. However, leaks continued to spread online, with almost the entire collection now datamined and shared with the public.

Pokemon TCG Pocket will shortly release its Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion, and while Gen 2 hype is very high, one Pokemon card is not great.
Out of all the leaked A4 cards, one Supporter has drawn the most attention: Will. As a prominent member of the Indigo Elite Four, Will comes with a compelling ability that can upend the entire metagame. “The next time you flip any number of coins for the effect of an attack, Ability, or Trainer card after using [Will] on this turn, the first coin flip will definitely be heads,” reads the card. In a sense, Will is the first surefire way to manipulate Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s coin flip RNG, which is why it stands out among all the other shimmering additions.
- Title: Will
- Type: Supporter
- Ability: Guarantees the next coin flip is heads
- Expansion: Wisdom of Sea and Sky
Many coin-flip-dependent cards are left out of the meta due to their reliance on RNG. Take Aerodactyl from Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Genetic Apex set, for example. For two Energy and one successful coin flip, it can send the opponent’s Active Pokemon back into their deck, potentially leading to an early win. But that’s just one case. There are also all the Basic cards whose damage increases with a coin flip to consider, like Heat Rotom or the A2 Eevee. There’s also the upcoming Xatu, which can flip a coin at the start of its move and set the enemy’s HP to 10 if it lands heads.
It’s already been proven that Supporters can have a major impact on the meta. Back in the Space-Time Smackdown era, Pokemon TCG Pocket released Cyrus, a Supporter many deemed overpowered, and he has since become a staple in PvP. Now, it looks like Will is set to join the roster of similar legendary Supporters fairly quickly after launch, largely because there appear to be no negative side effects attached to his ability.
For those curious, the A4 set will seemingly add five more Supporters besides Will: Fisher, Hiker, Silver, Lyra, and Jasmine. It remains to be seen how these new Trainer Cards will impact the meta and what fresh synergies they might bring.
