Pokemon and Campbell’s are teaming up to release a new collection of collectible soups. Fans of Pokemon and Campbell’s chicken-flavored soups will likely want to check it out.
Pokemon has had a lot of collaborations with food brands since its inception. These limited-time opportunities tend to be popular, as they pair up Pokemon fans’ favorite pocket monsters with products that are usually already household names and popular choices. In this particular case, a new collaboration will let fans enjoy a soothing classic with a Pokemon twist.
Campbell’s is introducing a limited collection of Campbell’s Condensed Kids Soup called Pokemon Shaped Pasta with Chicken in Chicken Broth. The taste of the soup is what fans have already come to know and love, but the pasta now has Pokemon shapes, featuring Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Poke Balls. There are eight different 10.5 ounce can designs that can be chosen from, with identical soups in each. The can designs feature popular Gen 1 Pokemon, including Pokemon series mascot Pikachu, plus original starters Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, as well as Eevee, Jigglypuff, Mew, and Mewtwo.
Finding Pokemon Campbell’s Condensed Kids Soup
Fans of Pokemon and Campbell’s won’t want to wait to look for the soup, as it’s arriving on store shelves and online stores starting in August. Campbell’s website offers a store finder to help locate where its products are sold, which may be helpful for fans. However, Pokemon fans should be aware that some of the designs will be easier to find than others, similar to how some Pokemon are easier to find than others in the games. If other product collabs and the featured Pokemon’s inherent availability in games are any indication, Mew and Mewtwo will be rare to see, so any fans who spot them should consider grabbing them before they disappear.
For now, it remains to be seen if more collaborations between Pokemon and Campbell’s will be made. If these are successful, fans will likely be hoping to see some of the later generations of Pokemon joining the collection.
It’s clear that Pokemon fans have no shortage of interest in products like these. However, hopeful shoppers won’t want to hesitate to look for the Campbell’s Pokemon soups. Everything from store products to McDonald’s collaborations have sold out rapidly in the past, and it’s likely that this will be no different. Some of the soups are already appearing on reseller sites at inflated prices, so it may not be long before they vanish from store shelves entirely.
