Pinstress Location (Fatal Resolve Quest) In Silksong

Fatal Resolve is a Wayfarer quest available during Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong. The Pinstress wishes for one final duel, where the winner gets to make the final blow. You need to first find her in Blasted Steps and then follow her tracks to Mount Fay to complete the quest.

How To Trigger Fatal Resolve Quest In Silksong

To trigger the Fatal Resolve quest in Silksong, reach Act 3 and visit Bellhart. Approach the Wishing Board, and the quest should be available. Accepting the wish means Hornet needs to find the Pinstress twice and eventually fight her. Completing the quest rewards a tool called the Pin Badge.

The Pinstress house is located to the west-most of Blasted Steps near the Sands of Karak entrance in Silksong.

Start from the Blasted Steps Bellway and proceed right. Glide down past the hanging cages until a blue flag with pins appears to the left.

Use the platforms to keep going in the same direction until you reach an area with a heavy storm.

Take advantage of the balloons to go higher and enter the Pinstress house to find a bench and note. She moved to Mount Fay and is waiting there.

Fatal Resolve Quest In Silksong (Pinstress Location)

The Pinstress can be found on top of a cliff near the top of the first vertical area of Mount Fay in Silksong. To track her easily, Hornet can interact with the bodies impaled by pins to trace her path.

Starting from the bottom, use double jump to reach the left wall and climb the platform. Hop to the right and quickly use the temporary platforms to go higher.

Harpoon the enemy to reach the ring. Cling to the left wall and climb it to land on the upper platform, where there are some silk flowers. Jump to the left wall as leverage to reach the ring to the right.

Hop onto the temporary vertical platform and turn to the left wall, where Hornet can use it to climb to the platform with a warming light. Look left and cling to the wall while climbing up.

The next area is all about sticking to the wall and avoiding the spikes to reach the other side. Eventually, Hornet can glide down to a warming light to hop onto the right side.

Go up the vertical platform carefully to avoid spikes and Clawline the enemy to gain height. Do the same for the next one and land on a metal platform with a pin.

Use the upper enemy to reach the left wall and climb to the top. Proceed forward and jump onto the upper platform.

Harpoon the enemy to the right to reach the ring. Double jump to the higher ring, then use the enemies to grab the upper ring. After going through the path that leads up, inspect the body to continue tracking the Pinstress in HK Silksong.

Go left and rest on the bench if necessary. Jump high and Clawline into the ring, then use the left wall to reach the nearby enemy. Use the wall again to reach the ring and go to the left.

Climb carefully to the warming light and harpoon the needle to the spikes on the right to land on the top of the platform. If it’s too tricky, continue gliding down instead of harpooning the spikes, and use the enemies and temporary platforms to go higher.

Double jump to the left to find a blue body covered in snow. Hit it a few times to find out it’s the Pinstress taking a nap.

Speak with her and accept the challenge to start the fight. The Pinstress jumps around a lot and uses ranged attacks, so prepare yourself.

Once the fight is over, the Fatal Resolve quest is complete, and Hornet receives the Pin Badge tool that decreases the charge time of Needle Strike.
