How to Register for the Closed Beta

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls promises to shake up the fighting game genre with new mechanics never seen in a tag-team fighter. Now that a handful of players have gotten time with the game, it will now soon be available to many more.

During EVO 2025 in Las Vegas, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls was available to play on the show floor. EVO is the largest fighting game tournament/convention to happen every year, and this game promised to have a large presence for its attendees. In the nature of large announcements that happen on the final day, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls broke the exciting news that a closed beta is on the way. Here is how to register for it.

How to Register for the Closed Beta

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, with a PC version available at launch, as Sony is the main publishing studio developing this game alongside Arc System Works. In that vein, PlayStation’s website is handling the whole registration process for this closed beta.

If you view Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls on the Playstation Store via a web browser, you will see a section dedicated to the closed beta below its general information. There, you will see a link with the next steps you will need to take to successfully register for the beta. Those steps are:

Click the ‘Register now’ button.
Complete the registration form to sign up for PlayStation Beta.
Wait for your invitation at a later date.

The PlayStation Beta program asks you questions based on the games you like to play, so they can suggest upcoming ng titles to you easily. Upon filling out the registration form, you will be registered to possibly be selected to participate in the closed beta. If you have previously done anything related to the PlayStation Beta program, you will automatically be registered to possibly be selected upon completing the first step.

In the days leading up to the beta’s start date, September 5, keep an eye on your email tied to your PlayStation account for your beta code. There is no confirmed date for when beta codes will be rolled out, so it is safe to say they can show up in players’ emails at different times. The email with a beta code can end up in spam/junk folders, so be sure to check all of your inboxes to make sure you do not miss the code if selected. If you do not get a code by September 4, you likely have not been selected to partake in this closed beta.

That said, an open beta is likely to be coming at the end of the year that will be more widely available to those looking to partake. The closed beta for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls lasts from September 5 to September 7.
