The Bundled Up badge is one of the rarest achievements in PEAK currently, and it feels especially satisfying to claim. Introduced in the September’s mini-update, it isn’t tied to the lighthearted Dillydallying activities at the Airport. Instead, the badge demands grit and strategy in the icy Alpine biome. With the right mix of patience, preparation, and environmental awareness, you can conquer Alpine’s frost and walk away with one of the most stylish rewards in PEAK so far.
How to Get the Bundled Up Badge in PEAK
To get the Bundled Up badge in PEAK, you need to reach the summit of the Alpine without taking more than 20% cold damage. While that may sound like a generous threshold, players quickly learn that Alpine’s freezing winds, relentless exposure, and climbing challenges make it much harder than it appears.
As you climb higher into Alpine, temperatures drop dramatically, causing your cold meter to rise steadily. Once this meter pushes past 20%, your chance of unlocking Bundled Up is gone, meaning even a single miscalculation can force you to restart. Staying warm and controlling the pace of your climb is critical if you hope to walk away with this badge.
If you manage to reach the summit while keeping your cold exposure below the cutoff, the Bundled Up badge will unlock. You will also win a unique cosmetic prize: the Ice Climber outfit, available in two shades.
Best Strategies to Get the Bundled Up Badge
Take Regular Breaks
The Alpine biome is filled with hazards that contribute to cold damage. Caves and tucked-away mountain edges can buy you precious moments of safety. This can help you reset and protect yourself from the bitter winds. Treating these spots as checkpoints can mean the difference between success and failure.
Equip the Right Tools
One of the most useful items for keeping warm is the Heat Pack, which can be found inside luggage scattered throughout Alpine. Heat Packs are temporary but powerful, giving you the boost you need to push through particularly cold stretches without letting your damage meter climb past the threshold.
Campfires near the top of the biome also provide relief, giving players a chance to stabilize their body temperature before making the final push.
Use the Ancient Idol
The Ancient Idol, better known as the Golden Bing Bong, from earlier in the climb can be used to protect oneself from the cold damage. While it’s not the most efficient strategy, every advantage matters when the badge depends on staying under the 20% cold damage limit.
