Fights in Lost Soul Aside are very fast-paced, with both enemies and Kazer jumping around quickly to attack and block incoming attacks. While there are a few ways players can try to avoid incoming damage, occasionally, some attacks will go through, and Kazer’s health will go down.
Despite all of Arena’s bragging about his offensive power, players only have a limited number of options on how to restore lost health. Healing in Lost Soul Aside mostly revolves around potions; here’s how to get and refill them, along with how to refill them in the few situations where it’s possible to do so.
How to Heal in Lost Soul Aside
The main method for healing in Lost Soul Aside is to use potions. There is a wide range of potions to use, with some being refillable and others being limited. Whether you’re in or out of combat, you’ll need to use healing potions while also rationing them to make sure you have enough to get to the next checkpoint.
The other way to heal is to interact with Liana in some of her set locations throughout the game. Liana acts as checkpoints where players can save, upgrade their gear and abilities, and also heal, a staple element in soulslike games. Liana only appears in set locations throughout the game, though she is essentially at all of those locations at the same time, letting players back track if needed to fully heal up or save whenever needed.
How to Get More Potions in Lost Soul Aside
The main type of potions you’ll use the most of throughout the game are the basic Healing Potions. The reason you’ll use these the most is that they refill every time you interact with Liana, giving you as many as needed to reach your carry capacity for that type of potion.
Liana almost always appears right before a boss fight, letting you stock up on potions and save before a major fight.
Outside of Healing Potions, there are a lot of other potions in the game to get that heal all sorts of ailments, health, and stamina. Stronger potions can also be used to restore health, though it’s important to know these potions are limited and not restored by interacting with Liana. There are a few ways players can get additional potions, though the methods below can’t be used to farm a set type of potion, making Healing Potions the most reliable.
- Picked up off the ground, appearing as small gold lights.
- Found in chests.
- Crafted in Liana’s Workshop
- Purchased through the shop in Liana’s preparation menu.
