The ‘A Moment to Breathe’ trophy in Ghost of Yotei requires players to get a perfect score in Ku-E-Shinok. However, this game can’t just be played anywhere, and if you don’t know exactly where to go, you might have difficulty finding it, let alone getting the perfect score. Fortunately, there’s a trick to getting the perfect score that can make this an incredibly easy trophy to tick off your list on the way to earning the platinum. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find the Ku-E-Shinok mini-game in Ghost of Yotei, and how to get a perfect score easily so you can unlock the ‘A Moment to Breathe’ bronze trophy.
Where to Find the Ku-E-Shinok Game in Ghost of Yotei
The Ku-E-Shinok game can be found in the Ainu Hunting Grounds within the Golden Foothills area of the Yotei Grasslands region. This is in the northwest section of the map, and I’ve included a screenshot above to show you exactly where you need to go.
The good news is that the Yotei Grasslands region is where you start the game, so once you’re free to explore the map, you can immediately head to this location and get the trophy ticked off the list.
Once you reach here, speak to the little girl, and she’ll ask if you want to play the game. Atsu will also comment that this seems familiar, so press and hold the touchpad to jump into the past to relive a memory where she played the game as a child.
How to Get a Ku-E-Shinok Perfect Score in Ghost of Yotei
Ku-E-Shinok is a game that requires you to shoot six arrows through six different hoops. While it sounds simple in premise, some of these hoops are harder to shoot an arrow through than others.
Out of the six hoops, three will be moving when you need to shoot them. The first moving hoop comes from the child standing on the right side of the screen. He’ll roll it along the floor, so wait for it to come out from behind the log on the ground and shoot through it to easily tick this one off.
The second moving hoop will come from the child standing near the middle. He will throw it in the air to his (and your) right. Wait for him to shout to say he’s going to throw it, and then begin charging your shot. As he throws it, wait for it to reach its highest point, aim directly in the middle of the hoop and release your arrow. As long as you’ve got your timing right and have fully charged your arrow, you should get this one fairly easily.
The third moving hoop comes from the boy on the left. He’ll roll it along the ground, similar to the first moving hoop. This is really easy. Just take your time, line the shot up once he’s rolled it, and fire.
If you’ve got all three of the moving hoops, then the remaining three are incredibly simple. Aim straight down the middle of the three hoops, fully charge your shots, and release.
If you fail on your first attempt as a child. You can speak to the man in the present day to try again as many times as you want. Also, focus on the three moving hoops first. There’s no time limit on those, but once the moving ones have been thrown, they won’t be thrown again. Focus on getting these hit while you can, and then take off the three hanging hoops to unlock the trophy.
