Lucia Caminos from Grand Theft Auto 6 has been recreated in the art style of Grand Theft Auto 4, thanks to the creative vision of one talented fan. Being one of the two protagonists, alongside Jason Duval, Lucia is among the most talked-about characters set to feature in GTA 6, releasing on May 26, 2026.
Introduced in the very first trailer for GTA 6, Lucia has been a focal point in the game’s promotional material shown so far. While the announcement in 2023 gave fans a glimpse of the female protagonist, the second trailer and the updates posted on the official website in 2025 provided them with a closer look at her origins as well as her motivations. One such detail revealed about Lucia revolved around her past life in Liberty City, which is the same location where GTA 4‘s story is set.

Grand Theft Auto 6: Lucia’s Connection to Liberty City Could Be a Game-Changer
The latest batch of Grand Theft Auto 6 information shed more light on Lucia, with her links to Liberty City having some clear gameplay potential.
Reddit user dbrnx21 recently took inspiration from Lucia’s Liberty City connection and reimagined the GTA 6 character in the art style of GTA 4 loading screens. The fan art references the character’s gym attire and party dress looks, shown in the GTA 6 content revealed so far, and incorporates them in two different GTA 4-themed loading screens. While one clearly hearkens back to GTA 4‘s loading screen, the other draws heavily from the unique, flashy loading screen featured in GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony. In the post, dbrnx21 also shared a brief look at how they made their digital art of Lucia. In the comments, the author’s effort was praised by several fans, with one of them saying, “I thought these were Rockstar Official [sic] …”
GTA Fan Portrays Lucia in GTA 4-Style Fan Art
The aforementioned fan creation is one of the many ways the GTA community has shown its affection for the much-anticipated GTA 6. Despite the release date still being months away, there is already significant discussion around the game and a steady flow of fan art. Earlier this year, another GTA enthusiast caught the attention of the fan base via their LEGO-based recreation of GTA 6‘s second trailer.
While the anticipated sequel may arguably be the biggest thing on the minds of GTA fans right now, a reasonable number of them have also been on the lookout for any traces of the rumored GTA 4 remaster. The 2008 open-world title is a fan-favorite entry, especially known for its comparatively darker tone, and could benefit from a modern port on current-gen platforms.
