Yuji Itadori used his domain expansion against Ryomen Sukuna in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. Despite this being the first time that Yuji used a domain, it was quite successful. As far as appearance goes, Yuji’s domain is quite special. It paints a perfect picture of his hometown, from the farms to the schools, all the way down to the animals there. Sukuna, I can kill you. Give up. — Yuji Itadori
As far as powers go, Yuji’s Domain Expansion is quite spectacular, although not as dangerous as Sukuna’s or Gojo’s. Curiously enough, Yuji uses the same technique as Sukuna inside the domain. Both of them make use of the Shrine cursed technique inside the domain, but they do so in different ways.
Sukuna uses Malevolent Shrine and launches a flurry of Dismantles at the enemy as his sure hit. Yuji, on the other hand, is different. He doesn’t use the same technique as Sukuna. As mentioned earlier, his Domain Expansion is very different. Yuji Itadori uses the power of Dismantle from a distance in his domain. Under normal circumstances, Yuji Itadori cannot use Dismantle without making physical contact with the enemy.
Let’s start all over again, Sukuna. It is still not too late. — Yuji Itadori
Inside the domain, however, Yuji can use it without contact. His sure-hit attack is a powerful Dismantle aimed at the enemy that causes tremendous damage. What makes his sure hit Dismantle so powerful is the fact that it is aimed at the soul of the person. Instead of cutting the physical body, which is easy to heal, Yuji targets the soul and causes tremendous pain.
How Yuji’s Domain Expansion Affects His Role In The Story
Yuji Itadori Is Potentially The Strongest In The World
Yuji Itadori has one of the simplest but also strongest Domain Expansions that fans have seen in the story. After awakening his Domain Expansion, he is complete as a sorcerer. In the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, Yuji Itadori showed off Reverse Cursed Technique, Cursed Techniques, Anti Domain Technique, other barrier techniques, and finally, Domain Expansion to signify his evolution into a powerful sorcerer.
