Players who participated in the Shock ‘N Awesome Twitch Drops can get access to the Metal Menace bundle in Fortnite for an incredible price. Back in Chapter 1, most players rocked the default skin, and it was usually paired with a back bling and a pickaxe that had been given away as part of an event or quest. Nowadays, it is not as common to spot a default look, as most players have at least one or two skins in their in-game lockers. Even if players don’t purchase any of the Battle Passes to get access to seasonal skins, Epic Games is constantly doing giveaways and presenting fans with ways to increase their number of cosmetics in Fortnite.
Players can get freebies in Fortnite by linking their accounts with other services, logging in when there’s a promotional offer, participating in events, and completing quests. Twitch Drops are one of the most popular giveaway forms in Fortnite. Epic Games tends to do Twitch Drops to celebrate FNCS milestones or the start of a new season. This allows players to unlock cosmetics in Fortnite by tuning in to a stream and sticking around for a few minutes.
How to Get the Skulldroid Skin for 100 V-Bucks in Fortnite
When Chapter 6 Season 4 started, players were able to earn free Fortnite cosmetics by participating in the Shock ‘N Awesome Twitch Drops campaign. The drops were live from August 7 until August 11 and featured a few cosmetics: the Metal Menace wrap, the Tome of Skulls back bling, and the Skeletal Cybersythe pickaxe. These items are now in the Item Shop bundled with the Skulldroid skin. Fans who got all the items in the Twitch Drops can purchase the bundle and get the remaining item, the Skulldroid skin, for only 100 V-Bucks.
Bundles were a great addition to Fortnite because they allow players to purchase an entire set of items at a discount price. Additionally, if fans have bought some of its items before, they can get the rest of the bundle at a much lower price, since what they already paid will be subtracted from the bundle’s cost. This is why the Metal Menace bundle is so cheap for those who participated in the Shock ‘N Awesome Twitch Drops. However, if they were to buy the skin by itself, they’d still have to pay the full 800 V-Bucks.
The Metal Menace bundle is available in the Item Shop until August 22, at 8 PM ET. It is unknown when it will return, so players who want to purchase it have until the shop resets on Friday to get it. Since the bundle is available at such a low price, gamers can simply grind the Battle Pass until they reach their next V-Bucks reward. The free version of the pass offers 200 V-Bucks, so it is doable for players even if they haven’t bought the Battle Pass.
