Jujutsu Kaisen is among the most well-known anime series in the world. The anime has just two seasons, but its quality has impressed the audience so much so that they are eagerly waiting for updates regarding the next installment. Unfortunately, MAPPA has not dropped any major hints regarding the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, but that might be about to change soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen Will Make An Announcement Regarding Season 3
Jujutsu Kaisen Is Expected To Make Big Reveals
- The new information will be disclosed in Shonen Jump Volume 38
- JJK fans have been waiting for a long time for anime-related news
After a long wait, Jujutsu Kaisen will be publishing “a lot” of information in the 38th edition of the Weekly Shonen Jump. The information is likely tied to the third season of the anime; after all, it’s been months since fans received a proper update.
So far, the anime has only disclosed a new key visual featuring Itadori Yuji. Since then, there has been absolute silence.
Thankfully, the anime will finally disclose some new information in the coming days. At the moment, it’s unclear what the announcement will be about, but it’s likely tied to the release date of the third season. If the new information does indeed confirm the release date of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Season 3, it will send fans into a state of frenzy.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Possible Release Date
JJK Season 3 Will Likely Release In 2026
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 was released in 2020, while Season 2 was released in September 2023. Considering the gap between the first and second seasons, it’s safe to assume that the third installment might be released in 2026. MAPPA might be leaning towards a Fall 2026 window, as the studio has other projects that it is currently working on. The staff will need more time to finish the anime, which is perfectly fine. Until the new season is released, fans can either re-watch the first two installments, or they can watch the latest compilation movie that came out in May 2025.
If fans do not want to watch the anime, they can always read the manga, which ended in 2024. While there are still many question marks about the ending, it still makes for an enjoyable read. After all, Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn’t have sold more than 100 million copies if it weren’t good. Fans can use the official Shonen Jump+ app to read all the chapters for a small fee.
Jujutsu Kaisen is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
