This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia fans are delighted to know that despite the conclusion of the manga last year, the author continues to drop exciting bits of information for the fans to enjoy. Last year, Horikoshi officially wrapped up My Hero Academia, but since then, he’s come out with a ton of exciting information about the postwar world, including the Hero rankings after the timeskip.
Horikoshi published a big fanbook earlier this year, which was then followed by an art book, along with a ton of other information that dropped at a My Hero Academia exhibition. All things considered, Kohei Horikoshi has dropped a lot of exciting information for the fans over the course of the last few months. In doing so, he’s also given some focus to the up-and-coming generation of Pro Heroes that the fans grew up watching. After the timeskip of My Hero Academia, these Pro Heroes are leading from the front, but not all of them are equally powerful. That said, Oda has now officially revealed the new generation of the strongest Pro Heroes, and those who lead them.
The New Generation Of Pro Heroes Is Led By Mirio Togata
Mirio Replaced Endeavor As The Number 1 Hero
- Shoto Todoroki is the No. 2 Hero
- Mt. Lady Ranks 3rd In The Chart
During the Final war of My Hero Academia, the world of Heroes changed completely. While Endeavor was leading the Heroes in the Final War, things changed completely after the era. Fans don’t know exactly who led them immediately after Endeavor, but Horikoshi clearly reveals the leaders of the new generation after the 8-year timeskip.
This is the story of how we all became great Heroes! — Kohei Horikoshi
In the last chapter of My Hero Academia, Horikoshi clearly revealed that the new Number 1 Hero of Japan is none other than Mirio Togata and that he’s the leader of the new generation.
In the My Hero Academia one-shot, fans found out that Shoto Todoroki is the new No. 2 Hero, just behind Mirio, and that he’s become very powerful. He has mastered his powers over the years, and his kind demeanor means that he claims a spot over even Bakugo.
In the 3rd spot is none other than Mt. Lady. While this may be shocking to many, it is quite clear that she’s become tremendously powerful over the years, and that right now, she is a force to be reckoned with. She has surpassed Kamui Woods and stands as one of Japan’s mightiest Heroes.
Stand proud, young Midoriya! You’ve earned this too. — All Might
Izuku Midoriya Is The No. 4 Hero In Japan
Bakugo Katsuki Is The No. 5 Hero Right Now
The protagonist of the series, Izuku Midoriya stands in the No. 4 spot. Izuku wouldn’t have been a Hero had it not been for his friends. After he lost his Quirk, Bakugo Katsuki, All Might, and all the other Class 1-A members pooled resources to have a Hero Armor made for him. Thanks to this armor, Izuku Midoriya ended up becoming a massively powerful Hero and immediately rose to the No. 4 position.
Finally, in the No. 5 spot just behind Izuku Midoriya is Bakugo Katsuki. Technically, Bakugo is incredibly powerful, and the author goes on to state that Bakugo is potentially even stronger than Mirio. However, his bad behavior gives him a negative ranking and this puts him at No. 5.
The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. When it comes to the anime, this series is still awaiting its final season, which will be released later this year. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
