How to Have More Than One Garden in Grow a Garden (Save Slot Guide)

Where Roblox Grow a Garden often adds new seeds and pets to decorate with, some just couldn’t stay in our gardens for long, mainly because we were limited to just one garden. But luckily, the Save Slots mechanic, added in the 1.15.0 update, lets us start fresh with multiple farms and build them from scratch.

This works differently from the Garden Expansion, which only makes your existing farm bigger for planting more seeds. With Save Slots, you can create a whole new garden, give it any theme you want, and even upgrade it through Garden Ascension. This guide will cover how to Save Slots in Grow a Garden and how to unlock more slots for extra gardens.

‎How to Save Slots in Grow a Garden

The Save Slots option sits right next to your garden’s signboard. More specifically, you’ll find it by pressing E on the mailbox to the right of your farm’s board. To unlock another garden in Grow a Garden, just click the Save Slots icon on the mailbox and purchase the slot for 25 billion Sheckles.

You can rack up that much by selling fruits with multiple mutations. If you’re unsure how, you might want to take a look at our guide on stacking mutations. If you’d rather skip the grind, you can also buy the slot for 399 Robux.

Once purchased, a second farm will appear labeled Slot #2. Just click it to load in and start setting it up your way.

Keep in mind, though, you’ll need to wait 3 real-time minutes before switching between gardens.

How to Get More Save Slots in Grow a Garden

Initially, players could only have two gardens using the Save Slots feature. However, with the 1.21.0 update, it’s now possible to unlock additional farms. To get more save slots in Grow a Garden, head to the Garden Ascension shop (to the right of the Sell Stuff stall), talk to the Garden Coin Keeper NPC, and purchase the Save Slot Upgrade for 100 Garden Coins.

At the time of writing, you can only get one more save slot from the Garden Coin Shop, though this may change in future updates. Since you’ll need Garden Coins for the upgrade, you can earn them using the Rebirth system in the game.

Simply submit the required amount of Sheckles (starting from 1 trillion) to the Garden Coin Keeper and have the required fruit in your inventory to receive 10 Garden Coins every 4 hours.
