Co-Op Adventure Game Lego Voyagers Gets A September Release Date

Back in June, Lego Builder’s Journey developer revealed its next game utilizing the iconic plastic bricks, Lego Voyagers. This time around the game is a co-op adventure game where you play as two, single-stud bricks heading off on a journey about “friendship and play.” Now, as revealed in a trailer released by publisher Annapurna Interactive, a release date has been set in stone.

You’ll be able to pick up Lego Voyagers in a month’s time on September 15, when it will be launching on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and the original Nintendo Switch. The new trailer, which you can check out below, offers up a good look at what you can expect from the upcoming game. It looks like you can expect some light puzzle elements, which of course includes building things–one scene shows one player brick holding down a set of bricks while the other builds a catapult to get across a ravine.

The whole goal for these two sentient Lego bricks is to rescue an abandoned spaceship, and it looks like they’ll be traveling by boat and train as they slowly make their way to achieve that dream. You’ll be able to play the game in both local and online co-op, and if you own a copy of the game, you’ll be able to invite a friend to play the whole game for free alongside you with the Friend’s Pass. If you’re at Gamescom later this month, you’ll also be able to try out a demo of the game.

Lego Voyagers is out September 15, on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
