Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac Preorders Include Exclusive In-Game Costumes

Pac-Man made the jump to 3D way back in 1999 with Pac-Man World, which earned solid reviews and went on to become something of a cult classic. It would later earn a remake, Pac-Man World Re-Pac, in 2022. A similar thing is now happening with the original game’s sequel, Pac-Man World 2. The 3D platformer launched for PS2, GameCube, and Xbox in 2002, and more than two decades later, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is bringing it to a whole new audience with new features, enhanced graphics, and voice acting. Preorders are open ahead of its September 26 release on PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, Switch, and PC, with two options available: a $30 standard edition and a $40 Digital Deluxe Edition. Preordering the game early also gets you a few bonuses.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac Preorder Bonuses

Preorder any version of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, and you’ll get four Team Ghost Costumes and four Team Ghost Figures. These are in-game collectible items. There don’t appear to be any retailer-exclusive bonuses, but we’ll update this section if things change ahead of launch.

The standard edition of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac gets you the base game on your platform of choice. Physical copies also include reversible cover art sleeves–one side features the new Re-Pac artwork, and the other recreates the key art of the 2002 original. You can preorder physical PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and Switch copies at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. Digital preorders are also available on consoles and PC. PC players can preorder the game for just $33.59 at Fanatical, while console players can preorder Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac Digital Deluxe Edition for $40 on the Switch eShop, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is a massive rework of the classic game. Offering modern graphics, expanded levels, various quality-of-life improvements, and voice acting, Bandai Namco says the game has been rebuilt from scratch for modern consoles. You’ll also get to enjoy updated boss battles and a two-player mode, which should make this much more than a simple rehash of an old adventure.

Before diving into Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, consider playing (or replaying) the original Pac-Man World Re-Pac. You can pick it up on PS5 for just $20, though it’s available on several other platforms. If Amazon sells out, you’ll find additional copies for cheap at Walmart.
