
It’s a bit tricky to navigate the Institute in Little Nightmares 3, which is why it might get confusing about where to find the battery to open the door. After dodging doctors and deadly plants, Low and Alone are blocked by a metal door that cannot open unless they find a power source to place in the empty socket. So, it’s crucial to find the battery in Little Nightmares 3 to continue exploring chapter 4.
How To Get The Battery In Chapter 4 – Little Nightmares 3
After discovering the dilemma of the missing fuse in the corridor, Alone and Low must work together to try and locate it. First, grab the cart and move it under the window to the left. Use the cart to reach the window and go through it to land in an empty room.
Proceed left into the corridor and keep going directly left to find yourself in a room full of toys. Stay in the same direction to the following room to see some shelves stacked with toys as well as some boxes.
Jump on the boxes and climb them to eventually find a small window in the corner of the wall. Go through it and slide down the makeshift rope to land inside the room from Low’s flashbacks.
Head to the trash chute to the left and let Low hoist Alone up to open it. As papers and other trash are spilling out, a small doll that looks like Alone will appear as well.
Interacting with the doll will bathe it in a red glow that will give you a glimpse of an alternative reality as long as players are standing around it. Grab the doll and keep it in your hands to head out of the room through the door. Keep going right to find the door in the room full of toys that is now closed.
Climb the seesaw and throw the doll out of the small window.
Get out of the now open door and grab the doll again. Move away from the camera, deeper into the corridor where a giant hole in the ground was in the way.
Go inside the room to the right and enter the next room where there is a lever.
Place the doll nearby and make Low help Alone up to pull the lever, which closes the door you came through and opens another across it.
Head inside the newly opened room and proceed to the far left where you can pull another lever to finally get a working battery.
One character should hold the doll and the other grab the battery and then pull the lever outside to re-open the door you came from.
Once players are back in the corridor, drop the doll somewhere away from the door to the right, as the broken window is in the other reality that’s not bathed in red.
Throw the fuse through the broken window and climb it to arrive on the other side of the Institute.
Grab the battery and return to the closed door to place it inside the empty socket.
Grab the nearby cart and roll it close to the lever. Climb it to jump onto the lever and pull it, opening the metal door.
