This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.
One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, where Oda is revealing some of the deepest and biggest secrets of the story, especially concerning the past of the One Piece world. At this point, One Piece is exploring the life of Rocks D. Xebec through Loki’s flashback, and it is safe to say that this part of the story has been absolutely stunning so far. As soon as Rocks D. Xebec was introduced in the flashback, fans knew that Oda would also touch upon the events of the God Valley Incident, which all fans have been waiting years to see. The God Valley Incident was first brought up in the story around 6 years ago, and it is only now that Oda has finally shed some light on it.
The last few chapters of One Piece have revealed a ton of information on God Valley, including the major characters that were involved there, and the biggest battles that took place on this island. Most importantly, Oda showed the exploits of Rocks D. Xebec on this island, and it has now officially been confirmed that Rocks isn’t the strongest in God Valley at all. This title officially goes to another character that fans are very familiar with, Imu. One Piece chapter 1162 confirmed to the fans that Imu officially joined the God Valley battle after taking over Saint Saturn, and now, he’s ready to face off against Rocks D. Xebec and the Rocks Pirates crew.
Imu Was The Strongest In God Valley
Imu Took Control Over Saturn
- Saturn flight Rocks Pirates under Imu’s control
- Saturn likely defeated Rocks
When the God Valley Incident is brought up, most fans automatically assume that Rocks was the strongest during this event. Naturally, given that there was a lot left to be uncovered about the God Valley Incident until recently, it would be perfectly fine to assume that he’d have been the strongest on this island, especially since Garp and Roger were said to have teamed up against him.
Who might that be? Well, if I had to put it simply? I’d say….the World! — Rocks D. Xebec on Imu
However, now that fans have gotten a proper look at the events of the God Valley Incident for themselves, it is quite clear to see that this wasn’t the case.
Just as the God Valley Incident unfolded, Imu officially joined the battle by taking over one of their subordinates. Previously, Imu took over Gunko in Elbaf, but this time around, they did so with Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, one of the Five Elders. Having fused with Saturn, even Rocks needed to team up with the likes of Blackbeard and Kaido to face Imu, and that certainly goes to show that Oda himself is portraying Imu to be the strongest.

The Rocks Pirates Disbanded In God Valley
Rocks Was Beaten in God Valley
While Rocks might not have been the strongest in God Valley, he was certainly the strongest mortal there. The fact is that Rocks was so fearsome that even Imu wanted him out of the way, so much so that they took control of Saturn themself to see it accomplished. Imu most likely succeeded in defeating Rocks one way or another. It is here that the Rocks Pirates officially came to an end and Rocks’s death disbanded the crew. The legend of Rocks was covered up by the Government as well as they possibly could, but fans know that Rocks is a legend the likes of which could ever truly remain hidden from the world.
