Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s November 14 launch is around the corner, and the fan-favorite map Nuketown is reported to make a return sometime after the game’s launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
CharlieIntel confirmed in an Twitter post on September 30 that Nuketown will arrive in Black Ops 7 “before Season 1.” While this means it isn’t one of the game’s 18 multiplayer maps, Black Ops 6‘s first season kicked off on November 14, 2024–just 20 days after its October 25, 2024 launch. If Black Ops 7’s first season follows a similar trajectory, Nuketown could drop in early December.
Nuketown was first introduced in 2010’s Black Ops. Iconic for its incredibly tight shooting lanes and those two opposing two-story houses, it’s one of those maps that speeds up what can already be a really fast game. It appeared in Call of Duty: Mobile but hadn’t been seen until it was remastered in Black Ops 6. And now, it’ll make a comeback before Black Ops 7 Season 1 drops.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7‘s open beta begins this weekend, with the official start times finally revealed. During the beta, you’ll also get a taste of the Zombies mode and a feel for how explosive body shields are.
