PC users can claim Human Fall Flat for free if they win a game key in the Lenovo Legion Gaming Community giveaway on September 23. Known as one of the highest-selling indie games of all time, Human Fall Flat normally costs around $20 USD, making this promotion a great chance for players to add it to their libraries without opening their wallets.
In January 2025, it was revealed that Human Fall Flat had sold over 55 million copies, a milestone few indie games reach. This shows the popularity of developer No Brakes Games’ physics-based co-op title and should be good news for anyone looking to pick it up, as it suggests the game’s servers are likely full of players.
Some PC Users Can Claim Human Fall Flat for Free on September 23
Anyone with a Lenovo Legion Gaming Community account can join the Human Fall Flat giveaway. There’s no need to collect Twitch Channel Points or complete any tasks to enter. However, participants will likely need to link a verified Steam account to Lenovo’s partnered storefront, Gamesplanet. That is because the vouchers can only be redeemed for global Steam keys and won’t work on other platforms. While the giveaway has no time limit, the number of keys is limited and, as with Lenovo’s previous free game drops, they are expected to run out quickly. Fans can find more details on the Human Fall Flat giveaway on Lenovo’s official blog.
Most of Lenovo’s game key drops follow a first-come, first-served approach, requiring gamers to wait in a virtual line for a chance to grab a free copy. This means only those who arrive early and stay in line are likely to get a copy. The number of keys distributed usually runs in the thousands. For example, during Lenovo’s Ultra Street Fighter 4 giveaway in August, 5,000 Steam keys were handed out. Some recent promotions, however, seem to have doubled that number, with around 10,000 players reportedly claiming keys for games like The Surge.
Human Fall Flat isn’t the only game Lenovo plans to give away. On October 8, the company will drop keys for The Next BIG Thing, a 2011 point-and-click adventure game with Very Positive reviews on Steam. PC gamers looking for freebies and with no patience to wait until October can currently claim September’s free games on the Epic Games Store, which are Project Winter and Samorost 2. There are also several free-to-keep PC games on Itch.io for those interested in trying experimental titles.
