Konami has a history of making their games have a Deluxe Edition that includes early access for a set number of hours. While this is a great addition, this is not the only thing that players can get when they preorder the Deluxe for Silent Hill f. There is a costume and some other items, all of which can be accessed fairly early on in the game.
The guide below offers information on what players need to do and how much they will have to progress in order to get the Deluxe Edition contents in Silent Hill f.
How to Claim Deluxe Edition Content in Silent Hill f
As soon as you boot up the game, you can start a new game, where you will find difficulty options for both Action and Puzzles. Do remember that whatever difficulty you choose cannot be changed, so you will have to restart your playthrough if you want an easier playthrough. After the difficulty settings, if you have the Deluxe Edition and have preordered the game, you will get one of three costume options to choose from:
- Navy Sailor School Uniform
- White Sailor School Uniform
- Pink Rabbit Costume
With the outfits out of the way, you still have some stuff from the Deluxe left to claim, and for that, you will have to play through the game. The description of the items when you preordered the Deluxe Edition said that the items would be available in the Hokora. Even though this statement is true, you will not get the items from the first Hokora you pray to, which is right after the opening cutscene. You will have to go through the prologue of the game and past your first few enemy encounters. After this, you will find another Hokora, and this time, you can navigate over to the Bonuses tab to get the following items:
- Omamori [Peony] – Slightly restores Health upon picking up food items
- Shriveled Abura-age – A type of Offering. Yields a great deal of Faith when enshrined.
- Divine Water – Fully restores current Max Sanity and reduces Sanity damage taken for a set time. Can be used as an Offering.
- First Aid Kit – Fully restores Health.
With the items in your inventory, you can use them if you want or even offer some of them at the Enshrine to get Faith, which is used to draw a random Omamori or for the character upgrades later on in the game.
