The Legend of Korra’s Blu-ray Steelbook Collection is receiving a surprise reprint. First released in 2021, the Steelbook Collection includes all four seasons of the Avatar: The Last Airbender follow-up and four steelbook cases with exclusive artwork. The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series Steelbook Collection is available to preorder for $52 at Amazon ahead of its November 11 release.
The original edition is listed for close to $100 by resellers on Amazon, so the reprint could certainly sell out before launch. Hopefully Paramount is planning to rerelease the matching Avatar: The Last Airbender Steelbook Collection, which sells for absurdly high prices.

This limited-edition set comes with a steelbook case with exclusive artwork for each of The Legend of Korra’s four seasons. All four steelbooks are packaged in the slipcase shown above. The box has a windowed design, so you can reorder the steelbooks to change the look when displayed. The spines of the steelbook cases are labeled to match the names of the seasons/books:
- Book 1: Air (12 episodes)
- Book 2: Spirits (14 episodes)
- Book 3: Change (13 episodes)
- Book 4: Balance (13 episodes)
The Legend of Korra ran for 52 episodes from 2012-14 on Nickelodeon. The eight-disc box set comes with every episode as well as featurettes and audio commentaries.
The series takes place roughly 70 years after the Avatar: The Last Airbender finale. While you don’t technically need to watch The Last Airbender to enjoy Korra, it’s highly recommended that you do because you’ll get more out of it. Plus, both series are two of the best animated TV series of their eras.

The Steelbook Collection is just one of several physical editions of The Legend of Korra fans can choose from. If you pick up the Steelbook Collection and don’t already own Avatar, you can get Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Complete Series on Blu-ray for only $25.
The Legend of Korra’s Steelbook Collection isn’t the only exciting Avatar series release in November. Magic: The Gathering’s Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover set launches November 21.
