Dying Light: The Beast arms Kyle Crane with a host of powerful weapons that he can use to shred through hordes of zombies with ease. The Sawblade Launcher is one of these legendary weapons that players can get early on in the game if they’re willing to travel into a higher-level area. The legendary weapon’s blueprint is located atop the Silos safe zone, so be prepared to do a bit of climbing before being able to craft the Sawblade Launcher.
How to Find & Climb the Silos in Dying Light: The Beast
To get the Sawblade Launcher in Dying Light: The Beast, players must first reach and climb the Silos Safe Zone. The Silos can be found in the Pembroke area, towards the easternmost part of the map.
After reaching the area, players will spot a truck conveniently parked right beside the Silos, which will be the starting point for the climb. Grab the steel beam and use it to get across to the right side. From here, grab the metal frame on the exterior of the silos to reach the metal catwalk on the right.
From here, simply use the lamp post to swing across to a red pipe. Jump from one red pipe to another, which will lead to two more lamp posts. You’ll eventually land on a catwalk, which you can jump off to swing at a lamp post, and later grab the rope to reach the second level of the Silos.
As soon as you reach the second catwalk level of the Silos, make sure to drop down the collapsible ladder. This will unlock a shortcut for you climb back up to the second level, skipping the initial parkour section.
Now, continue forward on the catwalk in front of you and walk the steel beam until you spot a rope to the right. Jump to grab the rope, and grab the red pipe afterward to reach the top of the Silos.
Now you’ll need to restore power to the Silos Safe Zone. You’ll encounter a lot of zombies roaming around here, which you can either eliminate or simply make a break for the electricity box. Attach the cable to the electrical box on top of the Silos, drop down the second collapsible ladder, and jump down to connect the wire to the box below.
This will restore power to the Silos Safe Zone, and players will be able to enter the safe area and get the Sawblade Launcher blueprint in Dying Light: The Beast.
Sawblade Launcher Location & How to Craft it in Dying Light: The Beast
Look for a wooden crate near the electrical boxes that will be blocking a vent passage leading inside the safe area in Silos. Break the wooden crate and enter the safe area of Silos.
You’ll find the Sawblade Launcher weapon blueprint on the workbench, alongside other crafting resources.
Players will need the following resources to craft the Sawblade Launcher in Dying Light: The Beast.
- 100x Scraps
- 10x Blades
- 3x Batteries
- 1x Gun Parts
Once you’ve gotten all the required components, craft yourself the Sawblade Launcher and wreak havoc against the zombies in Dying Light: The Beast.
